Celebrating Serve Weekend!

Two weekends ago, we closed out Impact Month with our first Serve Weekend since 2019. It was an INCREDIBLE time being out in the community, meeting very real needs! Over the course of the weekend, we had over 300 people Set in Motion within 12 projects, totaling 650 hours of volunteer work. We had over 30 units of life-saving blood donated through Carter, and thousands of people saw the love of Jesus through 18 Boo Bashes that were hosted on Halloween! I wanted to highlight a few projects we served at:

Sleep In Heavenly Peace was on campus to build bunkbeds for children in Fort Worth to have a place to sleep.

We were able to be a huge help to Love and Light by sorting, organizing, and transitioning the clothing to the new season.

A large number of our NextGen students were at Chosen Ones, sorting and organizing clothes and baby items.

We were able to do some much-needed maintenance and housework through Servolution.

We painted a gorgeous mural for When We Love and passed out supplies for families in need.

Over 200 cards were made for those serving in our Military.

...and SO much more! These are just a few moments from a weekend packed with service to the community. THANK YOU for being a church Set in Motion!
