5 Resources for Online Devotionals
As a believer, our daily time in the word is so important, but finding devotionals that you connect with, learn from, and can do as a couple or family can be really challenging! There are so many resources available that it can be overwhelming to know where to start. We’ve assembled a list of 5 Online Resources that will help you know the Lord more deeply and create a rhythm that works for you and your family! Check them out here:
1: YouVersion: We love YouVersion at The Creek, and you may know the app from where we post our message notes and announcements each weekend. But did you know that they also have TONS of resources, online or in their app to help you get in the word each day? From devotionals, to stories, to a Bible app for kids. Check it out here!
2: The Daily Grace Co: This is one of the most beautiful resources for Bible Study and daily devotionals! The beautifully made, and wonderfully written studies take you through different topics and themes. They also provide AMAZING resources for tackling the Bible in a year, or reading chronologically. Don’t be fooled by the pastels and floral patterns, Daily Grace also has amazing studies for men, couples, and families! They even have the sweetest children’s books! Check it out here!
3: Proverbs 31 Ministries: Proverbs 31:25-26 says, “She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come. She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” These attributes don’t come by accident, they take intentional time with the Savior, seeking His heart and allowing Him to prune our soul. 4: Focus on the Family: I know I speak for every parent here when I say our deepest desire for our children is that they know and follow the Lord all of their days. I know I’ve seen how much better my life is by walking with Jesus, and I desperately want that for my daughter. This is an amazing resource for parents who want to teach their children about the ways of the Lord, and make bible study a family routine! Check it out here!
5: Bible Gateway: Last, we have Bible Gateway! If you’ve ever Googled a scripture, this is probably one of the first pages to pop up! But did you know that they have so much more than just a Bible on their site? Not only do they have the word in a huge number of translations, they also have resources for Biblical commentary, and lots of Bible Studies! This is a great resource for learning more about the Bible in its context! Check it out here!
