Celebrating Fort Worth Serve Weekend!

A couple of weekends ago, our Fort Worth Campus got to do one of the things we love most as a church body: serve our community! With 400 people serving at dozens of projects across the metroplex, we saw the church Set in Motion in a powerful way. I'd like to highlight some wonderful moments from the weekend!
These guys worked so hard at Chat 'N Chew, creating a new space where classes can be offered. With things like domestic abuse awareness, GED classes, citizenship classes, help with the law, and counseling, this new space will be an incredible area to serve people.
Sleep in Heavenly Peace makes bunkbeds, so no child has to sleep on the floor. I have to say, I think this project may hold the all time record in speed! They finished the build SO fast! This team was excited, efficient, and worked so hard!
One of our favorite things EVER is to see life groups Set in Motion together! There is something so powerful about doing life with a group of people, serving included! This fabulous group made hundreds of bagged lunches for a Sunday project to handout to the homeless community.
Hundreds of lunches, complete with the word of God. Priceless!
We're so thankful for the group who headed up the thrift store project! That is a lot of hard work, and I know the team at Second Chance is so grateful!
We want to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who participated over the serve weekend. From the trunk-or-treat on Thursday night at Northbrook, to the dozens of projects on Saturday and Sunday, to 40+ Boo Bashes on Halloween! Creek family, you make Jesus clear by how you serve the community!
