We've recently started doing a new song for worship that is a powerful declaration of the names of Christ, with a beautiful reminder that his name is great and greatly to be praised. The simple anthems are so moving when declared in unison by the church body! My prayer for you today is that these phrases settle into your soul and that you keep them close to your heart. I love the simplicity of speaking the names of Christ, and I want to encourage you to meditate on what these mean to us. So, worship in victory, knowing that our God has been worthy, and will continue to be worthy of ALL our praise.
Adonai = My Lord
Elohim = God
El Shaddai = God Almighty
Emmanuel = God with Us
