(2 Timothy 1:5) - We can consider how our background shaped us without forgetting that God is using it for good. - The Gospel is bigger than our background. - We are all someone else’s background. 2. Jesus calls us to pour into the next generation. (2 Timothy 1:6-7, Titus 2:1-6, Deut 6:4-9 ) 3. Jesus calls us to guard what he entrusts us with. (2 Timothy 1:12-14) - Stewardship is an invitation to trust God. - We can experience the discipleship of a Paul, and the joy of discipling a Timothy. - We are each building a legacy we will be remembered for. How is God calling you to engage the next generation in this season of your life?
